Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-429-19 with Jackson & Coker Locum
Tenens, LLC, a limited liability company, effective April 1, 2012, to amend Contract
#26-429-18, to increase the payment limit by $100,000, from $100,000 to a new payment
limit of $200,000, with no change in the original term of January 1, 2012 through December
31, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. Rate increase for anesthesiologists
only.
BACKGROUND:
On January 10, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-429-18 with Jackson
& Coker Locum Tenens, LLC, to provide temporary physician services at Contra Costa
Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, for the period from January 1,
2012 through December 31, 2012.
