HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04172012 - C.61RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a change to Purchase Order #08421 with IBM Corporation, to add $160,000 for a new total Payment Limit of $818,000, to provide maintenance and upgrades for IBM servers and software, with no change in the original term of January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: This Purchase Order will allow IBM Corporation to provide necessary maintenance support and upgrades for multiple mission critical healthcare hardware for the Health Services Department, through December 31, 2012. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this Purchase Order is not approved, mission critical hardware will be without a maintenance contract and any repairs and materials would be delayed.
