HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04172012 - C.58RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with Accuvant, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $696,589.75 for the Aruba Wireless Expansion System for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, for the period from April 25, 2012 through April 24, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This purchase is fully paid for from (a) the Medicare & Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and (b) the Delivery System Reform and Incentive Pool (DSRIP) funding. BACKGROUND: The Accuvant Aruba Wireless Expansion 3600 Base System is an extension of the wireless computing infrastructure project which originated at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. This purchase enables continued wireless service to the Pittsburg Health Center, Richmond Health Center and all Ambulatory Care Facilities.
