HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04172012 - C.55RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee to execute a fair market value lease agreement and purchase order with Xerox Business Services in an amount not to exceed $496,000, for the purchase of Nuvera 144 printer and maintenance, as recommended by the Public Works Director, for the period May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2017. FISCAL IMPACT: The cost is paid through department charges. Print & Mail Services is a zero net county cost operation. BACKGROUND: Print & Mail Services provides high-speed copying and printing for departments. The Nuvera 144 will provide quality copies at a reduced cost. The new lease reduces costs by $2,800 per month. Pricing is based on Texas Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) contract pricing. Reduced costs will be passed on to user departments. This is a 60 month FMV lease for an amount not to exceed $496,000.
