Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23-325-13 with Wilson Consulting, Inc., a
corporation, effective February 21, 2012, to amend Contract #23-325-10 (as amended by
#23-325-11 and 23-325-12), to increase the payment limit by $300,000, from $435,000 to a
new payment limit of $735,000, with no change in the original term of December 31, 2011
through December 31, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I). (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On January 20, 2011, the County Administrator approved and Purchasing Services Manager
executed Contract #23-325-10 (as amended by Amendment Agreements #23-325-11 and
#23-325-12) with Wilson Consulting, Inc. for the period from December 1, 2011 through
December 31, 2012, for the provision of technical support services for County’s Patient
Accounting System, including

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
custom reporting for the Keane system, technical support for the”HL7” interface, and
assistance with regard to implementing the Department’s appointment system.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #23-325-13 will allow the Contractor to
provide additional hours of services through December 31, 2012.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, the Department will not have access to Contractor’s
expertise with regard to County’s Keane computer system, while the Contra Costa Regional
Medical Center and Health Centers is transitioning to the Epic computer system.
