APPOINT the following individual to the District V Alternate Position on the Eastern
Contra Costa Transit Authority (Tri-Delta Transit) Board, for a term to expire on December
31, 2013, as recommended by Supervisor Glover:

None.
BACKGROUND:
The Tri-Delta Transit Authority Board of Directors was formed in 1977 as a Joint Powers
Agency (JPA) consisting of the cities of Antioch, Brentwood, Pittsburg and the county of
Contra Costa. Oakley incorporated as a city and joined in 1999. Eastern Contra Costa
Transit Authority is governed by an eleven-member board of directors composed of two
appointed by each of the

mayors of Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, and Pittsburg, two appointed by the Contra Costa
County Board of Supervisors, and one member at large.
Mrs. Erbez was appointed to the Regular seat member 2 in February, 2008, has served as a
very involved member and is interested in serving on the Board for another two year term.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The seat will reamin unfilled.
