HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04032012 - C.50RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with Aspect Software, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $807,904.83 for the upgrade of the Aspect Telephone System including maintenance for the disaster recovery sites in Martinez and Pittsburg, for the period from March 30, 2012 through March 29, 2017. FISCAL IMPACT: This purchase is fully paid for from (a) the Medicare & Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and (b) the Delivery System Reform and Incentive Pool (DSRIP) funding. BACKGROUND: The existing Aspect Telephone System needs to be upgraded to the new Voice Over Internet Protocol technology in order to bring flexibility to receive phone calls via computer, laptops, and handheld devices and expand these services County wide.
