Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract #74-080-12 with Nancy Grace Boda, a self-employed individual, in
an amount not to exceed $145,000, to provide consultation and technical assistance with
regard to Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) implementation for the period from April 1,
2012 through March 31, 2013.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
In April 5, 2011, the County Administrator approved, and the Purchasing Services Manager
executed Contract #74–080–11 with Nancy Grace Boda for the period from April 1, 2011
through March 31, 2012, for the provision of consultation and technical assistance with
regard to MHSA implementation.
Approval of Contract #74-080-12 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services
through March 31, 2013.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Without these consultation services, it would be quite difficult for the county Behavioral
Health division to complete innovation component planning, ongoing funding
requests/approvals, and to continue with planning processes with the multiple stakeholder
processes groups.
