HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03272012 - C.71RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23-489-2 with Tango2, Inc, a corporation, effective February 21, 2012, to amend Contract #23-489 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #23-489-1), to increase the payment limit by $1,500,000, from $1,140,000 to a new payment limit of $2,640,000, with no change in the original term of June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Amendment is funded 100% by Medicare & Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) Information Systems Unit with regard to healthcare information technology systems, including project management, network integration and information security. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #23-489-2 will allow contractor to provide additional services, with no change in the original term through May 31, 2013, and will increase the amount of out-of-pocket expenses for which Contractor may be reimbursed. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, funding will not be available for Contractor to complete the additional services required for Epic deployment.
