HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03272012 - C.55RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21066, to add one (1) Administrative Aide-Project (AP73) position at salary level C85 0972 ($2,720-$4,220) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of $87,577.33, which includes pension costs of $8,449.56, and will be completely funded by the Nurse Family Partnership Grant. BACKGROUND: The Public Health Division was recently awarded funding from the State Department of Public Health in order to implement the Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) Program within Contra Costa County. The focus of this program is to provide one-on-one home visits to participating clients, which consists mainly of first-time, low-income mothers from pregnancy through two years postpartum. The program's objective is to provide comprehensive and coordinated health care related services to improve health outcomes for families residing in identified at-risk communities.
