HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03132012 - C.73RECOMMENDATION(S): Acknowledge receipt of notice from New Connections, a non-profit corporation, terminating Contract #24–625 for the provision of substance abuse treatment services effective at the close of business on February 29, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 4% by Federal Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant, 40% by State Substance Abuse/Mental Health Services for CalWORKs (SAMHWorks), and 56% by Drug Medi-Cal funding. BACKGROUND: This contract meets the social needs of county’s population by providing specialized substance abuse treatment services for youth/adults/women/offender to help clients to achieve and maintain sobriety and to experience the associated benefits of self-sufficiency, family reunification, cessation of criminal activity and productive engagement in the community.
