HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03132012 - C.72RECOMMENDATION(S): Acknowledge receipt of notice from New Connections, a non-profit corporation, terminating Contract #24–513-44 for the provision of drug abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment services, effective at the close of business on February 29, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 90% by Federal Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant, and 10% by State Drug Court Implementation (CDCI). BACKGROUND: This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing specialized substance abuse treatment and prevention programs so that addicted youth are provided an opportunity to prevent or recover from the effects of alcohol or other drug use, become self sufficient, and return to their families as productive individuals.
