DIRECT the Real Property Division to record a certified copy of the Resolution in the
office of the County Recorder.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
In July 1985 a drainage easement, 10 feet in width, was dedicated to Contra Costa County
(County) on Parcel Map for subdivision 55-84, Map 117, Pages 7-8. The purpose of the
drainage easement was for use as a storm, flood and surface water drainage on a portion of
Assessor’s Parcel Number 187-330-013 (1315 Sugarloaf Drive) in the Alamo area.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
The property owner of 1315 Sugarloaf Drive would like the County to terminate and
abandon a portion of the Offer of Dedication, located along and within the southerly line
of parcel C, in order to remove the encumbrance from the property.
It has been determined that the offered area is not required and will not be used for the
purpose for which it was dedicated.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The County may be responsible for the maintenance of an area that is not required for
drainage purposes.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
