Subject:INCREASE hours of one Physical Therapist II position in the Health Services Department.
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
II position #11083 submitted a request in January 2012 for her position hours to be
increased from 24/40 to 28/40. The Health Services Department reviewed the request and
verified that she consistently worked above her position hours and the need for the
additional hours will continue.
As such, the Department is requesting that the position hours of Physical Therapist II
position #11083 be increased from 24/40 to 28/40.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this action is not approved, the Department will not have sufficient hours in this
position to perform the required work which could have a negative impact on patient
care. Furhter, the County would not be in compliance with its agreement with Local 1
regarding hours increases.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
Not applicable.
