The Advisory Council consists of 11 members and the Internal Operations Committee (IOC) reviews nominations BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) to all seats except those designated for County managers and labor organizations. Seat terms are for three years. On February 13, 2012, the IOC reviewed and approved the nomination of the two applicants for consideration by the full Board of Supervisors. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The applicants recommended for appointment will not be appointed to the Committee. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: No impact.
