HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01172012 - C.27RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the Sheriff-Coroner, a change to a purchase order with Producers Dairy Products Inc., to extend the term through December 31, 2012 and increase the payment limit by $250,000 to a new payment limit of $810,000, for the purchase of dairy products as needed for the Martinez and Marsh Creek detention facilities. FISCAL IMPACT: $810,000 maximum. 100% County General Fund; Budgeted in fiscal year 2011/12. BACKGROUND: The vendor is a General Services Department-selected vendor providing the dairy products and other related products needed by Martinez Detention Facility and Marsh Creek Detention Facility to support the feeding program requirements of the inmate population.
