Subject:Purchase Order - COGENT BlueCheck II Devices
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
strictly for the 250 Bluecheck II's that will be deployed countywide for Sheriff and City
Police Officers with Mobile Data computer already in their cars.
Part of the selection process required a 90 day field trip with 25 devices at the responding
vendors expense. Only 3 vendors met the requirements of the Sheriff's Office and the
Cogent devise was the most user friendly and stable, which will integrate with our existing
system.
