HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02142012 - C.45RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-517-3 with R. Mason Coleman, M.D., Inc., a professional corporation, effective January 1, 2012, to amend Contract #26-517-2, to increase the payment limit by $80,000, from $675,000 to a new payment limit of $755,000 with no change in the original term of April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On April 5, 2011, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-517-2 with R. Mason Coleman, M.D., Inc., for the period from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2014, for the provision of radiology services including clinic coverage, consultation and on-call services. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, patients requiring these medical services at Contra Costa Regional Medical and Contra Costa Health Centers would experience longer wait times and possibly go untreated.
