HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02142012 - SD.5RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Resolution No. 2012/65 requesting that the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors grant informal recognition to the California Nurses Association for the classifications of Staff Nurse - Per Diem (VWWA) and Staff Advice Nurse - Per Diem (VWXF). FISCAL IMPACT: There is no cost associated with this action. BACKGROUND: California Nurses Association has petitioned for informal recognition while it pursues formal recognition as the majority representative of employees in the Staff Nurse-Per Diem and Staff Advice Nurse-Per Diem classifications. The Director of Human Resources has reviewed the request and determined the petition to be in conformance with the requirements of the County's Employer-Employee Relations Resolution No. 81/1165 (EERR), section 34-10.004 and has recommended informal recognition as required under section 34-10.006.
