HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02072012 - C.59RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a blanket purchase order to Merry X-Ray Medical Enterprises, LLC, in an amount of $200,000 to provide Medical Imaging Supplies and Service/Maintenance for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center Diagnostic Imaging Department, for a two year period. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: Merry X-Ray provides Medical Imaging products, supplies and x-ray film processor service for all of the Diagnostic Imaging Departments within the Healthcare System. These products, supplies and services are necessary to the daily operation of the imaging service. The products, supplies provided include (but are not limited to): Film Developer & Fixer; Mammography & Dental Film; Injector Syringes Kits for CT and Special Procedures. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this Purchase Order is not approved, Contra Costa Regional Medical Center Diagnostic Imaging Department would not have necessary Medical Imaging Supplies and Service/Maintenance.
