APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of Risk
Management, a blanket purchase order with Aon eSolutions, Inc. in the amount of $167,271
for workers’ compensation and liability claims system annual software support and
maintenance for the period November 28, 2011 through November 28, 2012, as
recommended by the County Administrator.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Costs are supported through Countywide inter-departmental charges to the Internal Service
Funds for workers’ compensation and general liability.
BACKGROUND:
Aon eSolutions, Inc. is the sole provider of the iVOS Claims Management Software System
which provides current and historical claims data for administration of claims, premium
charges, actuarial analysis, and identification of loss trends. The iVOS system is the
copyrighted product of Aon eSolutions, Inc. and supplies the software, user licenses,
software support, software maintenance and application provider services used for our
claims administration.
