On June 15, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74–334–3 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #74-334-4), with Seneca Residential and Day Treatment Center for Children (now known as Seneca Family of Agencies), for the period from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, with an automatic extension through December 31, 2011, for the provision of school-based mental health services for SED students. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this contract is not approved, SED children will not receive the services they need, possibly resulting in a higher level of care. Expected program outcomes include an increase in positive social and emotional development as measured by the Child and Adolescent Functional Assessment Scale (CAFAS).
