Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent on behalf of the Health Services Department,
to execute, a Purchase Order with One touch Global Technologies, Inc., in an amount not to
exceed $395,000, for purchase of hardware, software and maintenance for a RightFax
enterprise faxing solution, for the period from January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Purchase Order is fully funded by (a) the Medicare & Medicaid Electronic Health
Records (EHR) Incentive Program of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
and (b) the Delivery System Reform and Incentive Pool (DSRIP) funding. No County funds
required.
BACKGROUND:
RightFax is Epic’s preferred vendor for use with the electronic health record (EHR).
Enterprise faxing is a mission critical capability of the Epic EHR.

If this purchase is not approved, failure to acquire an enterprise faxing solution will prevent
CCHS from being able to take maximum advantage of the technologies available through
