THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF CONTRA, COSTA
RESOLUTION NO. 3485
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF GRANT OF EASEMENT
TO THE CITY OF PITTSBURG FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND MAINTENANCE OF A ROADWAY OPENING SCHOOL STREET
INTO CA011005, EL PUEBLO, PITTSBURG
WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County
of Contra Costa in its continuing effort to provide decent, safe
and sanitary housing, did request the opening of School Street
to Treatro Avenue in CA011005, E1 Pueblo, Pittsburg; and,
rWHEREAS, on. October 1, 1985 the Board of Commissioners approved an
agreement -with the .Redeveopment Agency of :the City of Pittsburg
"to construct a: section of roadway extending School Street to
Treatro Avenue; and, '
WHEREAS, said agreement recognizes the construction and maintenance of this
segment of roadway to be by the City of Pittsburg and in order to
proceed with construction of this segement of roadway a Grant of
Easement from the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa
to the City of Pittsburg is required:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the
Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa authorizes the
execution of a Grant of Easement by its Chairman to the City of
Pittsburg on the land rights where the segment of roadway will be
constructed and maintained as shown on Exhibits A and B attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
This Resolution is to become effective immediately upon receipt of
HUD approval .
PASSED ON 2-11-86 by the following vote of the Commissioners:
AYES: Commissioners Fanden, McPeak, Schroder , Torlakson., Powers .
NOES: None.
