BACKGROUND: Established on June 23, 2009 (Item C.124) the purpose of the P-6 Citizen Advisory Committee is to make reports and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on extended police protection services which shall include, but not limited to, enforcement of the State Vehicle Code where authorized by law, crime prevention, and litter control. The Committee is comprised of five (5) members who reside within the P-6 Discovery Bay Zones 500-504, with no more than two appointees residing within any one Zone. The appointees terms expired December 31, 2011. Applications were accepted and the recommendation to reappoint the above individuals was then determined.
