HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12132011 - C.48RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Standard Agreement (Amendment) #29-784-4 (State #03-75796, A07) with the State of California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), effective December 30, 2011, to amend Standard Agreement #29-784 (as amended by Amendment Agreements #29-784-1 and #29-784-3), to make technical adjustments to the Agreement with no change in the original payment limit, payable to the County in an amount not to exceed $1,594,000 and to extend the term from December 31, 2011 through December 31, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: No change in the original amount of $1,594,000. This amendment will extend the term of the Agreement for the Local Initiative Program services that are not approved for Federal funding. No County funds are required. These services were formerly provided under Standard Agreement #29-772 and are now being broken out under this new Agreement Amendment #29-784. On August 15, 2006, the Board of Supervisors approved Standard Agreement Amendment #29-784 (as amended by Amendment Agreements #29-784-1 and #29-784-3) with the California Department of Health Care Services for the period from August 1, 2003 through December 31, 2011. Approval of Standard Amendment (Agreement) #29-784-4 will make technical adjustments to the Agreement and extend the related services to Contra Costa Health Plan members and County recipients through December 31, 2012. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this contract is not approved, funding for continuous services to County Medi-Cal recipients will not be provided. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not Applicable.
