SUBJECT: Contract Amendment Agreement; Pacific Rim EIR "'"� �'�
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the Chairman of the Board to execute the Contract Amendment Agree-
ment for an expanded scope of work on the Pacific Rim EIR with the consul-
tant firm of ESA Planning & Environmental Services. The contract amount
for the additional work will not exceed $25 ,800; thereby increasing the
level of the total contract to $50,800.
BACKGROUND:
The Pacific Rim Corporation elected to make a major change to the project,
resulting in a major revision to the existing EIR in the areas of air quality;
noise, traffic and land use.
