HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11082011 - C.27RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent or designee, on behalf of the General Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with Caltronics Business Systems not to exceed $150,000 for lease and copy charges of a color printer, for the period November 25, 2011 through November 24, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: The cost of equipment and usage is charged back to user departments. Print & Mail Services is a zero net county cost operation. BACKGROUND: The lease of the Konica-Minolta C7000 color printer allows Print & Mail Services to produce high-quality prints and copies. Color prints and copies are provided to departments at lower than market prices. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved, costs for printing services may increase.
