ATTESTED: September 27, 2011 David Twa, BY:June McHuen , Deputy RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the General Services Deparment, to EXECUTE a purchase order amendment with City Auto Supply, to increase the payment limit by $60,000 to a new payment limit of $224,000 for Motorcraft batteries and electrical parts, and extend the term for one year through September 30, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: FY 2011-12 ISF Fleet Budget. BACKGROUND: Fleet Management is responsible for vehicle maintenance. The fleet is primarily Ford vehicles. Motorcraft is Ford Motor Company's aftermarket brand. As bid on Bidsync # 0807-003, City Auto Parts was awarded a purchase order for Motorcraft batteries and electrical parts. This request is the second of three possible one year extensions. The term of the current purchase order number 25894 is for the period from October 1, 2008 thru September 30, 2011. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this agreement is not approved, then purchasing Motorcraft batteries and electrical parts from City Auto Supply at bid pricing will discontinue.
