HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09272011 - C.22RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20978 to reclassify one (1) Account Clerk Advanced Level (JDTD) (represented) and its incumbent position #146 to a Accounting Technician (JD7A) (represented) position in the Auditor-Controller Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Reclassification of one Account Clerk-Advanced Level position to Accounting Technician costs $5,388 (NCC $0) annually, which includes $1,851 in pension costs (NCC $0). Funding was included and approved in the Office of the Auditor-Controller's FY 2011-12 budget. BACKGROUND: The position is assigned to the Property Tax division and the incumbent is in a temporary upgrade status of Accounting Technician. The duties performed are pivotal to ensuring that property tax rolls are performed accurately and timely. The Department of Human Resources performed a desk audit and determined that the incumbent is indeed working out of class making this action necessary. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved the incumbent will be improperly classified at Account Clerk Advanced Level position.
