FISCAL IMPACT:
The funds for this project are Fee for Service, FS10-111 (100%).
BACKGROUND:
Reclamation District 800 is in escrow to purchase property owned by developers, Bixler
Business Park and Pacific/Bowie-Tracy II, for the construction of a bio-filter retention
pond in lower Kellogg Creek in the Discovery Bay area. The parcels being acquired for
this project are encumbered with Grant Deeds of Development Rights in favor of the
County. The close of escrow for this transaction is subject to the County providing
Quitclaim Deeds to eliminate its Development Rights.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The County’s development rights will not be quitclaimed and will continue to encumber
the parcels.
