Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract #24–681-82(4) with Modesto Residential Living Center, LLC, a
limited liability company, in an amount not to exceed $120,450, to provide Augmented
Board and Care Services, for the period from September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% Mental Health Services Act. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
This Contract meets the social needs of the County's population in that it provides
augmentation of room and board, and twenty-four hour emergency residential care and
supervision to eligible mentally disordered clients, who are specifically referred by the
Mental Health Program Staff and who are served by County Mental Health Services.
On September 14, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
#24-681-82(3) with Modesto Residential Living Center, LLC, for the period September 1,
2010 through August 31, 2011, for the provision of augmented board and care services for
County-referred mentally disordered clients.
Approval of Contract #24-681-82(4) will allow the Contractor to continue to provide
augmented board and care services, through August 31, 2012.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, augmented board and care services will not be provided to
County-referred mentally disordered clients.
