HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09132011 - C.139RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Deputy General Services Director, to execute a purchase change order with Platt Electrical, to increase the payment limit by $99,000 to a new payment limit of $594,000 for electrical parts and assemblies, and extend the term for one year through July 31, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: The cost of electrical parts is funded in the FY2011-12 Facilities Maintenance Budget. 100% General fund. BACKGROUND: The Facilities Management division of the General Services Department is responsible for the maintenance of all County buildings. Electrical repairs and upgrades are a common occurrence. Procurement of these electrical parts was bid on Bidsync bid No. "1-01 Electrical Parts." This change order request is the third of three possible one-year extensions allowed. The term of the previous purchase order is from August 1, 2007 to July 31, 2011.
