HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09132011 - C.126RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Department of Conservation and Development Director, or her designee, to execute, a contract amendment with CirclePoint, Inc. increasing the payment limit by $56,375, from $148,894 to a total amount not to exceed $205,269, to provide continued professional services needed to complete the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the Sufism Reoriented Sanctuary Project. FISCAL IMPACT: Increase of $56,375 to the existing contract, 100% Land Development Application fees; Budgeted. BACKGROUND: A Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) was prepared for two pending applications, a Minor Subdivision and a Land Use Permit, to establish a religious facility, the "New Sanctuary" for Sufism Reoriented located off of Boulevard Way, Kinney Drive, and Garden Court, within the unincorporated Walnut Creek (Saranap) area. The Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) is currently under review at this time and additional work and time is required to complete the final document.
