HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09132011 - C.37RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20778, to establish the classification of Web Producer (LBTF), allocate to the salary schedule at salary level ZB5 1543 ($4,923 - $5,984) and add one full-time permanent position in Health Services. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in a cost of $116,052.65, including approximately $25,133 in pension costs, and will be 100% funded by Bioterrorism Grant. This action will result in no County cost. BACKGROUND: The State Department of Health Services provides funding to Health Services/Public Health Division for the communication and dissemination of bioterrorism information and updates. Currently, a contract employee is responsible for the development; programming; user interface design; software evaluation; technical support/troubleshooting; analysis; and quality assurance in connection with the Health Services Department’s public websites and private intranets. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved, the Department will not be able to effectively manage the CCHS internet and intranet websites.
