HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09132011 - C.34RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE Appropriations and Revenue Adjustment No. 5003 authorizing new revenue in the amount of $15,950 from capital fund contributions made by the City of Oakley, and appropriating it to the Emergency Services Division for the purchase of three new radios for Oakley Police Department. FISCAL IMPACT: This action increases revenue and expenditures by $15,950. The new revenue is from accumulated annual contributions made by the City of Oakley to the County Law Enforcement Capital Projects Fund (105600), which is administered by the Office of the Sheriff. BACKGROUND: The Motorola data and radio system used by the Office of the Sheriff is a proprietary system. The APX7500 handheld radio is required for the new P25 Interoperable Radio system that has been installed throughout the county.
