THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Order on Decemb er 9 , 1986 , by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder , McPeak, Torlakson, Powers .
NOES: None .
ABSENT: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
SUBJECT: DETERMINATION OF PROPERTY TAX RESOLUTION NO. 86/`112
TRANSFER FOR VIERA/NELSON
86-5 BOUNDARY REORGANIZATION
(LAFC 86-47)
WHEREAS the Revenue and Taxation Code provides that when responsibil-
ity for providing a service is transferred from one special district to
another, the Board of Supervisors shall determine the amount of property
tax revenues to be exchanged between the districts; and
WHEREAS the Viera/Nelson 86-5 Boundary Reorganization (LAFC 86-47 )
involves concurrent annexation to the Riverview Fire Protection District
and detachment from the Oakley Fire Protection District;
THEREFORE, BE IT BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
RESOLVED that 100% of the property tax revenues accruing to the Oakley-Fire
Protection District from the affected territory of the subject reor-
ganization shall be transferred to the Riverview Fire Protection District
for the fiscal year for which the State Board of Equalization makes the tax
rate area changes for this jurisdictional change. The terms of the trans-
fer shall apply in subsequent years unless changed by the mutual agreement
of affected agencies or subsequent jurisdictional changes. This resolution
does not change the property tax revenues accruing to other agencies
servicing the subject territory or the affected agencies right to collect
taxes for existing bonded indebtedness. The property tax exchange agree-
ment discussed above shall apply to affected territory as submitted or
revised' by Local Agency Formation Commission.

WHEREAS the Revenue and Taxation Code provides that when responsibil-

tax revenues to be exchanged between the districts; and
WHEREAS the Williamson/Heidorn 86-4 Boundary Reorganization (LAFC
86-43 ) involves concurrent annexation to the Riverview Fire Protection
District and detachment from the East Diablo Fire Protection District;
THEREFORE, BE IT BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
RESOLVED that 100% of the property tax revenues accruing to the East Diablo
Fire Protection District from the affected territory of the subject reor-
ganization shall be transferred to the' Riverview Fire Protection District
