HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08162011 - C.38RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Standard (Amendment) Agreement #24–760–22 (#27342, 3) with the State Department of Rehabilitation, effective July 1, 2011, to increase the total amount payable to County by $113,111 from $3,865,386 to a new total of $3,978,497, and to make technical adjustments to the agreement, for the vocational Rehabilitation Services Project, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: Approval of this Amendment Agreement will result in an increase of $113,111 of funding from the State Department of Rehabilitation for fiscal years 2011/2012. No County funds are required. Approval of Standard Amendment (Agreement) #24-760-22 will allow the state to make a technical adjustment to the budget to reflect a change in the Administrative Assistant position, allowing County’s clients to continue participating in comprehensive rehabilitation plans that provide job skills development, career counseling, coaching in job application skills, job development and placement, and follow-up services with no change in the term through June 30, 2012. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this Agreement is not approved County residents with psychiatric disorders will not receive skills development, career counseling, coaching in job application skills, job development and placement, and follow-up services CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not Applicable
