HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08162011 - C.30RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE Appropriation and Revenue Adjustment No. 5001 authorizing the transfer of
appropriations in the amount of $960,000 from Board Mitigation Programs-North
Richmond Mitigation (0007/1114) to the new, interest bearing North Richmond Mitigation
Fund (0478) pursuant to direction from the Board of Supervisors, as recommended by the
Conservation and Development Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Interest revenue in an estimated amount of $2,000 annually would be realized in the new N.
Richmond Mitigation Fund rather than the County General Fund.
BACKGROUND:
On May 24, 2011 (item C.60), the Board of Supervisors authorized the establishment of a
separate interest bearing account for revenue derived from collection of the County and City
of Richmond approved North Richmond Waster and recovery Mitigation fee, as requested
by the North Richmond Waste and Recovery Fee Joint Expenditure Planning Committee.
This appropriation, if approved, will transfer the funds in the old account into the newly
created fund, outside the General Fund.
