Project No.: 4405-4462 Richmond Area CDD-CP# 01-34 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: It intends to purchase from the William and Phyllis Lowe, TRE for County office purposes, the real property described in Exhibit "A".attached hereto, for $527,500, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Purchase and Sale Agreement between the County of Contra Costa and the William and Phyllis Lowe, TRE, dated September 6, 2001,which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said agreement is on file in the Public Works Department. This Board will meet on December 4, 2001, -at l :00 0.in. the Board's Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, California,to consummate this purchase and the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the attached notice in the Contra Costa Times, pursuant to Government Code Section 6063. The Board hereby FINDS that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment, and DETERMINES that the project is exempt from the requirements of.the California Environmental Quality Act as a Class 1 a Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines and Section 15312 of the State CEQA Guidelines, and DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of a$25.00 handling fee to the County Clerk for filing and a $25.00 fee to Community Development for processing of the Notice of Exemption. This activity has been found to conform to the General Plan of the City of Richmond.
