The Board on November 18, 1986 , continued to this date the hearing on the recommendation of the San Ramon Valley Area Planning Comission on the proposed amendment to the Land Use Element of the County General Plan by Ygnacio Homes, Incorporated from Single Family Residential Low Density to Multiple Family Residential Medium Density for an approximately 20 acre parcel located northerly of Camino Tassajara and Camino Blackhawk Road in the Tassajara area. James Cutler, Community Development Department, presented the staff report and background information on the proposed General Plan Amendment request. The Chairman opened the public hearing. The following people appeared to speak: Charles H. Seaman, 1999 Harrison Street, Oakland, repre- senting Tony and Mary Ujdur; Ed Haworth, 707 Beck Avenue, Fairfield, representing Ygnacio Homes, Inc. ; Fred Sanders, 99 Tracy Court, Alamo; Cindy Siwecki , 2200 Hidden Oak Drive, Danville; Bob Spade, 537 Silver Oak, Danville; Elaine Doyas, 4126 Sugar Maple, Blackhawk area; Gayle Bishop, 18 Crow Canyon Court, Suite 230, San Ramon, representing Tassajara Now and Tommorrow; Doug Offenhartz, 510 La Gonda Way, Danville, Mayor, City of Danville; Terry Watt, 396 Hayes Street, San Francisco, of Offices of Shute, Mihaly & Weinberger, representing Tassajara Now and Tommorrow, spoke and presented written statement; Jennifer Norpchen, Pleasanton; Rod Stevenson, 12 Red Maple Place, Danville, representing Tassajara Now and Tommorrow; Jim Gross, 7880 Tassajara Road, Pleasanton; Paul Speroni, 245 Joseph Lane, Pleasanton; Helen M. Connelly, 3457 Silver Maple, Danville; Al Compaglia, 921 Ulfinian Way, Martinez, spoke in rebuttal. I Supervisor Schroder moved to close the public hearing. Supervisor Fanden seconded the motion. Supervisor Powers commented that in view of the request of the City of Danville to leave the hearing open and that he had questions of staff he would like answered he did not wish to close the hearing at this time. He did question staff regarding his concerns. Supervisor Fanden suggested that perhaps The City of Danville could submit written comments and that she would like to vote on closing the public hearing. The Chair called the question of closing the public hearing. Ayes: Supervisors Fanden, McPeak and Schroder Noes: Supervisors Torlakson and Powers Abstain: None Absent: None IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the public hearing is closed. The Board discussed the proposed General Plan Amendment and expressed concerns and questions to the staff. Supervisor Schroder recommended deferring decision until next week pending the staff reports back to the Board. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that decision on the proposed General Plan Amendment request by Ygnacio Homes, Incorporated in the Tassajara Area (26-85-SR) is DEFERRED to December 9 , 1986 , with written testimony accepted until that date and Community Development Department staff and County Counsel are REQUESTED to respond to con- cerns raised by Board members today on December 9 , 1986 . 1 hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the o:@rwtes of the Board of Supetrxiscra on t e date shown. / ATTESTED. ��Qt Orig.
