SUBJECT: Formation of.a North. Richnmond Area Redevelopment Project Area
Committee (PAC)
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
The.. Contra Costa County Board 'of Supervisors by Resolution No. 85/529 on September 10,
1985 designated the North Richmond Survey Area and initiated the. preparation of a
Redevelopment Plan pursuant to .Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.
The Contra Costa County Planning Commission, by Resolution No. 54-1986 on November 18,
1986, selected a project area and approved- a Preliminary Plan for the North Richmond
Area, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33322.
It has been determined that there may be a substantial number of low and moderate income
families .that may be displaced from the project area. Therefore, the Board of Supervi-
sors now wishes to call for the formation of a Project Area Committee pursuant to, Health
and Safety Code Section 33385.
The Board of Supervisors hereby instructs the Community Development Director to call
upon the residents and existing community organizations in the North Richmond Area to
forma Project Area Committee.
The Community Development Director is further instructed to report to the Board within
(60) days of the date of approval of the Preliminary Plan by the County Planning Commis-
sion concerning the proposed composition of the Project Area Committee.

SUBJECT: Acceptance- of the North Richmond Area Redevelopment Project
Boundaries and Preliminary Plan
The Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency RESOLVES THAT:
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors by Resolution No. 85/529 on September 10,
1985 designated the North Richmond Survey Area and initiated the preparation of a
Redevelopment Plan pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.
The Contra Costa County Planning Commission, by Resolution No. 54-1986, on
November 18, 1986, selected a project area and approved a Preliminary Plan for
the North Richmond Area pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33322.
The Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency hereby accepts the project area boundaries
and Preliminary Plan for the North Richmond Area Redevelopment Project, and authorizes
the Executive Director to transmit certain information to taxing agencies and officials
pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 33327 and 33328.
