SUBJECT: Lease for Office of Emergency Services
Specific Request(s) or Recommendation(s) & Background & Justification
I. Recommended Action: AUTHORIZE the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to
EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a Lease commencing January 1, 1987, with Muir
Parkway Properties for the premises at 1320 Arnold Drive, Suite 266, Martinez,
for use by the Office of Emergency Services, under the terms and conditions more
particularly set forth in said Lease.
II. Financial Impact: Payments required are to come from the budget of the
Department.
III. Reasons for Recommendations/Background: Provide temporary group meeting area for
emergency planning and coordination, as requested by the Office of Emergency
Services during construction of their new facility at 50 Glacier Drive, Martinez.
