HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11051985 - T.7 T�.7' THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on November 5, 1985 , by the following vote: AYES: Supervisor Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson and Fanden NOES : None ABSENT : Supervisor Powers ABSTAIN: None -------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBJECT : Hearing on Rezoning Application 2630-RZ and Development Plan 3037-85 filed by DESCO Investment, Inc. (applicant) and Miller, O'Bryan, Hawksworth, Liepstand, McGrath, Evans & Tekrony (owners) , Pleasant Hill BARTD Station Area. This being the time for hearing on the recommendation of the Contra Costa County P-alnning Commission with respect to rezoning application 2630-RZ filed by DESCO Investment, Inc. (applicant) and Miller, O'Bryan, Hawksworth, Liepstand, McGrath, Evans & Tekrony (owners) to rezone 4 .8 acres of land in the Pleasant Hill BARTD Station Area from Single Family Residential District (R-15) to Planned Unit District (P"=1) and for approval -of -Final Development Plan 3037-85 , for a 92-unit condominium project; and Harvey Bragdon, Assistant Director of Community Development described the property site and advised that the project would not generate any significant environmental impacts and that a Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance was issued. Mr. Bragdon further advised that on December 3, 1985 at 2 :30 p.m. , the Board would be hearing an appeal--on the proposed drainage system requirements for the subdivision application to divide the above 4.8 acres into 92 condominium units (Sub. 6670) and recom- mended that the Board today hear from those concerned about the drainage and further recommended that the Board' s conclusion reached today on the rezoning and development plan be comfirmed for the sub- division on December 3, 1985 . The Chairwoman opened the public hearing and the following individuals appeared and commented, particularly with respect to the adequacy of the drainage requirements for the proposed project: I : Kirk Blumstrand, representing the applicant, DESCO Investment, Inc. 2 . Emil Kardinal ; 31 Kingston Place, Walriut Creek The Board discussed the matter and IT IS ORDERED that rezoning application 2630-RZ and Development Plan No. 3027-85 are APPROVED subject to conditions as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof, and the Board concurs in and makes the findings as shown in the Contra Costa County Planning Commission' s Resolution Number 40-1985 . The Board also directed staff to keep the community informed as to the details of the drainage facilities that are to be constructed in the area. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Ordinance Number 85-67 giving effect to the aforesaid rezoning is INTRODUCED, reading waived and November 19 , 1985 is set for adoption of same. 1 hereby certify that this 4s a true and correctcopy aA an action taken and enterad on the mmtnul&s of the cc: Desco Investments, Inc.
