Fanden NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None TRAFFIC RESOLUTION NO. 3079 Supervisorial District III SUBJECT: --Speed Limits on DANVILLE BLVD. (Road No . 5301A) , between Alamo Way and Las Trampas Road, Walnut Creek-Alamo . The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT: On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey and recommendations thereon by the County Public Works Department' s Traffic Engineering Division and pursuant to the County Ordinance Code Chapter 46-2 (Sec. 46-2.002 ff.) , this Board hereby determines that the present speed limit(s) established on the below-described road, a street within the criteria of Vehicle Code Section 22358 is(are) more than reasonable and safe , and hereby determines and declares that the following speed limit(s) is(are) most appropriate, reasonable , and safe prima facie speed limit(s) there: Pursuant to Section 22358 of the California Vehicle Code, no vehicle shall travel in excess of 35 miles per hour on that portion of DANVILLE BOULEVARD (Road 05301A) , Walnut Creek-Alamo, beginning at the south city limits of Walnut Creek and extending southerly to a point 500 feet south of the intersection of Rudgear Road; Thence no vehicle shall travel in excess of 45 miles per hour on that portion of DANVILLE BOULEVARD (Road #5301A) , beginning at a point 500 feet south of the intersection of Rudgear Road and extending southerly to the intersection of Alamo Way; Thence no vehicle shall travel in excess of 30 miles per hour on that portion of DANVILLE BOULEVARD (Road 05301) , Alamo, beginning at the intersection of Alamo Way and extending southerly to a point 700 feet south of the intersection of Las Trampas Road; Thence no vehicle shall travel in excess of 35 miles per hour on that portion of Danville Boulevard (Road #5301A) , Alamo, beginning at a point 700 feet south of the intersection of Las Trampas Road and extending southerly to a point 500 feet south of the intersection of Hemme Avenue;. Thence no vehicle shall travel in excess of 45 miles per hour on that portion of DANVILLE BOULEVARD (Road 05301A) , Danville , beginning at a point 500 feet south of the intersection of Hemme Avenue and extending southerly to theCity Limits of Danville; Traffic Resolution No. 2751 pertaining to existing 35 miles per hour speed limit on that portion of Danville Boulevard between Alamo Way and Las Trampas Road, is hereby rescinded.
