Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract #72–025 with Resource Development Associates, Inc., a
corporation, in an amount not to exceed $185,000, to provide consultation and technical
assistance with regard to program assessments and planning, and grant writing services, for
the period from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 81% by a Blue Cross grant and 19% by budgeted County general
funds.
BACKGROUND:
Under Contract #72–025, Resource Development Associates, Inc. will provide consultation
and technical assistance with regard to program assessments and planning, including an
evaluation of County’s Pilot Health Integration, and grant writing services, for the period
from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, County will not have Contractor’s expertise to respond to
the Request for Proposal (RFP) from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Fiscal Year
2011 Public Prevention Health Fund: Community Transformation Grants.
