HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08022011 - C.34RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74-282-8 with Ronel L. Lewis, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $161,960, to provide child psychiatry services for the period from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 31% by Federal FFP Medi-Cal, 19% by State Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT), and 50% Mental Health Realignment. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental and Mental Health Specialists to provide specialized professional services, which are not otherwise available. On June 22, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-282-7 with Ronel L.
