FISCAL IMPACT: $10,000: 100% City of Walnut Creek Community Development Block Grant. No required match. BACKGROUND: City of Walnut Creek Grant funds are used to benefit lower-income individuals by providing management and financial training to assist qualifying participants in starting or expanding a microbusiness, thus providing economic opportunities for low-to-moderate income individuals.
