HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08022011 - C.17RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20926 to establish the classification of Director of Patient Financial Services (VADD) (unrepresented); allocate it to the salary schedule at salary level B85 2091 ($8,470.62 - $10,296.09), and add one (1) full-time Director of Patient Financial Services (VADD) (unrepresented) position in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $195,777, including pension costs of $69,138; and will be funded with Federal Delivery System Reform Incentive Payments as well as third party revenue. BACKGROUND: This new classification and position are needed due to the consolidating of the Patient Billing and Patient Financial Services units. Instead of having a Director position for each division, this one position will oversee both.
