Jack Biller, resident of Concord, requesting the County look into alleged illegal operation of taxi's by
unlicensed and unpermitted operatros at Pleasant Hill BART and the contract award to two companies for
service to the County under a program for ride vouchers related to transportation for Employment and
Human Services and Health Services clientele;
Dorothy Sansoe, County Admininstrators office, will meet with Mr. Biller today.
Ralph Hoffman, resident of Walnut Creek, urging an ordinance requiring employers to offer
environmentally friendly commute options/subsidies to employees;
The following people spoke regarding negotiations between the County and IFPTE Local 21,
Sue Guest, Local 21; Brady Calma, Local 21; Richard Cabral, president of AFSCME 512; Jeff Clark,
Contra Costa Labor Council (attachment); Rollie Katz, Local One; Mary Harms, SEIU Home Care; Rich
Sonsteng, UCOA; Vonley R. Honey, Local 21; Paul Kraintz, resident of Martinez; Margie Valdez, Local
21; Susan Cohen, Local 21; Todd Paler, Local 21; Teresa Notarmoaso, Local 21; Adeline Hunter, Local 21;
Scott Hutchinson, Local 21; Margaret Harris, Local 21; Robin Bedel-Waite, resident of El Sobrante;
Roylen Stack, Local 21; Juan Reardon, resident of Richmond; Bob Britton, Local 21; Cece Sellgren.
Lori Moore and Naomi Griffin did not speak, but left written comments for the Board's consideration.
